Shauntay Williams

Shauntay has lived what she lovingly calls a “patchwork quilt life” — a rich tapestry of creative expression, service, and personal growth. She began her professional journey as a stage and film actress, appearing in commercials, independent films, and industrials. For over 25 years, she has worked as an improvisational actor and standardized patient, bringing empathy and presence to simulated scenarios for medical schools, law firms, and training institutions. Through these roles, she’s helped professionals practice sensitive skills like delivering difficult news, deposing a witness, and developing a compassionate bedside manner.

Shauntay is also a certified hypnotherapist who worked for three different wellness centers in New York, and she has served in social services, including adoption case management. Her career spans unique intersections: monitor engineer for Record Books, fitness instructor contracted by the NYC Department of Health, and movement facilitator at senior centers.

She holds a B.A. in Sociology-Based Human Relations from Connecticut College and is an ordained Interfaith Minister through All Faiths Seminary International, where she studied under Rabbi Gelberman. Her lifelong passion for learning and joyful living continues to guide her ever-evolving path.

Shauntay’s mission is to empower others to play, to reconnect with their intuition, and to embrace healing through modalities like Access Bars®Sound Baths, and Improv. She believes that healing and creativity go hand in hand — and that life is meant to be enjoyed.

A true adventurer, Shauntay has walked on hot coals (twice!), leapt from the top of a telephone pole, fallen backwards into the arms of strangers, and even taken an aerial class. Her love of movement is just as eclectic — she has studied Ballet, Graham, Horton, Dunham, Simonson Jazz, African Dance, Middle Eastern (Bellydance), Haitian Dance, Pole Dance, and NIA. If it has “dance” in the name, chances are she’s tried it — or is planning to.

Her favorite quote captures her spirit best:
“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.” – Helen Keller
