Haitian Folklore Dance- introductory class. Rooted in Haiti's African heritage, Indigenous Taíno traditions, & French colonial history, this vibrant dance form is both a cultural & communal expression. Participants will explore foundational movements & rhythms while learning about the history, traditions, & cultural significance that make this dance meaningful. The class is led by Haiti-born teaching artist Reyina Senatus, trained in Haitian Folklore since childhood
