Janele KuLLA
Janele grew up in Connecticut where she danced at her home studio from ages 3 through 18. She studied all styles, including tap, jazz, ballet, modern, hip hop, acro, and lyrical. During that time, she participated in various competitions, both regional and national across the Northeast. She also held multiple lead roles in several ballet productions. Janele participated in many dance intensives and conventions throughout the years and was accepted into a summer dance program at Dean College. While attending her dance studio, Janele was an assistant teacher for the younger students, often helping out in 3-5 classes a week.
Janele retired from competitive dance in 2017, when she graduated high school and went off to college to pursue a degree in Mathematics. Upon graduating from Suffolk University in 2021, she moved to Oregon to work as a Software Consultant before returning to the east coast in 2024. After a 7 year hiatus from dancing, Janele rekindled her love for dance by starting classes at LMP. She’s been routinely taking tap classes for the last year and a half and performed in the last two LMP showcases. Janele Is thrilled to begin teaching again and cannot wait to instill the love for dance and community in her students.
