Christine reynolds
Christine is a ballet dancer, instructor, and movement educator with a passion for helping dancers build strength, confidence, and artistry. She began her formal ballet training as a child in Connecticut, continued throughout college at Denison University, and then in the DMV. She has continued to study under respected teachers, including training at The Washington School of Ballet, BalletNova, and with Desireé Errico of the Joffrey Ballet.
As an adult she has continued to perform extensively throughout the DMV, including productions of The Nutcracker with Dance Loft on 14th, the Adult Concert Program with The Washington Ballet, and participating in the Etoile competition in the Adult classical and contemporary divisions.
In addition to her dance career, Christine brings 13 years of experience as a personal trainer, giving her a unique understanding of strength, conditioning, mobility, and injury prevention for dancers. She also spent four years teaching English at the middle and high school levels, developing a thoughtful and encouraging approach to education.
As a ballet teacher, Christine combines her experience as a dancer, educator, and fitness professional to create classes that are technically focused, supportive, and empowering. She believes strong ballet training is foundational in technique but it is also about developing the confidence, discipline, musicality, and joy that allow dancers to truly connect with their movement.
